How it all started

In 2001, after an amateur career in which I won a number of National titles, I turned professional.
At the start of my career, things did not go as planned. Besides the fact that my performances were not always good, I also had difficulty finding the necessary sponsors to fully focus on tournament golf. Because of this, I came into contact with teaching early in my career. More out of necessity.
In between the international tournaments (that time I played on the EPD Tour and Alps Tour) I started giving many golf clinics throughout the country. As a result, I built up a nice database and was often hired. That's how I discovered that I also really enjoyed teaching golf.
In 2014 I actually ended up at IJsselweide Golf by chance. I received a phone call from the manager that they were looking for someone who wanted to take care of the youth lessons for a period of time.
That went great, so I was allowed to open my agenda for a few days. This also suited me well, because I was still busy with my Playing Pro career and therefore needed a place where I could teach my good sponsors and also earn some extra money. Ultimately I really enjoyed being part of the club until its closure in 2019, including a period as Head Professional. After the closure, I taught at Crimpenerhout Golf Course for a few months, before I started at Hitland Golf in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel in November 2019. To date, I am affiliated with Golfschool Hitland, where I currently have my online agenda open for 4 days.
I see myself as an all-round professional who enjoys the combination of Playing, Organizing and Teaching!

25 min: 35 euro
50 min: 65 euro
