Biography

Xavier started playing golf in 1985 at the age of five at a local field hockey club called HDS in his hometown The Hague where they had a driving range during the winter months. After having played at Stichting Openbaar Golf Den Haag a number of years, a golfcourse built on a camping site, Xavier joined The Rijswijkse Golfclub at age ten where his game developed. In 1995 he had the possibillity to become a member of The Royal Hague Golf & CC, the club to which he is still attached. With a few national amateur wins and with a handicap of +1,5 he turned professional in 2001. As a professional, Xavier has played tournaments all over the world including events on The Asian Tour, EPD Tour, Alps Tour, PGA Czech Tour, PGA Holland, NZ PGA Tour, Challenge Tour and European Tour. 

Xavier still lives in The Hague with his girlfriend Anne and his two sons Julian (2017) and Yannick (2021)
